World Poker Tour event sees island resident leader

Trevor Delaney is the new chip leader after 3 days of play at the World Poker Tour event that will take place in Montreal, Canada. With sixteen poker players still in contention from a starting pack of 697 pros, Delaney has a chip count of 3285000. The next highest chip count is 2425000.

After today’s round, 6 poker pros will go to Thursday’s telecasted final table where someone might earn a payout of around US$ 430000. Delaney is looking forward to build onto his 5th spot place finish at Canadian spring poker championship that would take place in Montreal where he reconciled for a US$ 59340 payout.

Meanwhile, the Winter Classic Poker Tournament is all set to be hosted by the largest casino resort in Louisiana this December. The
4-event series runs from 9th Dec
to 13th Dec at the Coushatta Casino Resort in Kinder.

The series’ highlight is the US$930+US$70 buy-in main event that features twenty-thousand in starting chips, and forty-minute blind levels on the 1st day, and sixty-minute blinds on the last day. Other events to take place at the event are – a $300 buy-in mega satellite into the main event, a $500 buy-in tournament and a $325 buy-in senior’s event.
